Cari Amici e Colleghi,
ho il piacere d'informarvi che martedì 27 marzo 2012 alle ore 18.30 presenterò il mio romanzo "Eleven in September" al John D. Calandra Italian American Institute di New York, diretto dal Prof. Anthony J. Tamburri. L'evento è stato organizzato dal Prof. Peter Carravetta, titolare della cattedra "Alphonse M. D'Amato" di studi Italiani e Italoamericani presso Stony Brook University (NYC). Ovviamente, sarei molto felice che tutti gli amici di New York potessero prendere parte a questa iniziativa, per me molto importante: prego quindi tutti i residenti, e/o gli amici che fortunatamente si trovassero a NYC quel giorno, di segnare la data in agenda e - se possibile - di essere presenti. Agli amici italiani partecipo la mia grande gioia per questo avvenimento e anticipo che il prossimo 3 maggio sarò a Milano [Astra Art Gallery] con l'amico - artista, fotografo, musicista, and not only - Nicola Di Caprio, per una performance ispirata al romanzo, alla quale prenderanno parte anche altri artisti. Tutti i dettagli a seguire.

I am pleased to inform you that Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. I will present my book "Eleven in September" at the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute, directed by Prof. Anthony J. Tamburri, in New York City. The event is organized by Prof. Peter Carravetta, "Alphonse M. D'Amato" Chair of Italian and Italian American Studies at Stony Brook University (NYC). Obviously, I'd be very happy if all my friends in New York could take part in this initiative, very important to me: please, residents and/or friends who fortunately will be in NYC that day, mark the date in your diary and - if it is possible - be present. I am very happy to communicate this good news to all my Italian friends, to whom I advance that May, 3rd I will be in Milan [Astra Art Gallery] with my friend - artist, photographer, musician, and not only - Nicola Di Caprio, for a performance inspired by the novel, with the participation of other artists.
